All the surgeons at Shire Family ENT are Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in the Specialty of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (Ear, Nose and Throat) and all have undertaken further international postgraduate training in subspecialty areas of interest in world renowned institutions. It is our privilege to bring this expertise to our patients. All surgeons have Visiting Medical Officer appointments to hospitals of the South East Sydney and Illawarra Area Health Service – Dr Bridger at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Dr Smith at St George/Sutherland and Canterbury Hospitals and Dr Flanagan at St Vincent’s Hospital. Dr Payten, having served the Shire for over 30 years as a Visiting Medical Officer at Sutherland Hospital has now retired from operative practice and focuses on medical and medicolegal ENT.
